The twenty-fourth annual Sidewalk Art Festival successfully occurred in Winthrop (Maine) on Saturday, August 20. There were about thirty-five artists and crafters displaying. Weather conditions were typical for a mid-summer in Maine (warm, humid, slight breeze).

This was the first event fully managed by the Winthrop Area Chamber of Commerce; for nearly (and perhaps more) twenty years the event was managed by Pat Ladd and Robin Struck. This years total of thirty-eight exhibitors is down from recent events were fifty or more entrants was common.
